Getting to know Kyle Garifo

My name is Kyle Garifo, and I have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 2001. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Chicago. I enjoy the process of therapy and helping individuals and couples navigate through rough waters to a brighter future. Sometimes the path that needs to be taken is different than the obvious one in front of us, and I help shine the light on that different path.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in taking a more light-hearted approach to therapy to foster insight and growth in my clients. We will focus on the issues at hand to strengthen the client from the inside in order to change disruptive thoughts and therefore behaviors. No one person knows what it is like to be in our clients' shoes therefore we must work together to gain a greater understanding of the challenges that exist and the answers within.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
