Dr. Kyung St Laurence, PsyD, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I have worked with a wide range of clients from all backgrounds, with an emphasis on treating veterans and their families. I value a person-centered approach to building respectful and collaborative relationships to empower the change my clients seek through therapy. My area of particular interest is working with individuals during life transitions, dealing with childhood trauma, OCD, ADHD, loss and grief, transgender issues, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship struggles. My specialties include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and integration of Eastern and Western philosophies. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University, which has enriched my understanding and approach to therapy. Throughout my experience, I have enjoyed working with a diverse group of people, honoring the uniqueness of each individual's experience, cultural, and family background. When I am not focused on my clients, I enjoy practicing meditation (I love silent meditation), yoga, and playing the piano. I look forward to working with you!
