Getting to know Lafayette Bagley
Lafayette Bagley, LSW, believes each person seeking therapy is unique, and he is here to provide options and tools to help make healthy change a reality. Growth and healing are possible, and he guides each client on that journey. Lafayette treats adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, marriage and relationship issues, family conflict, and more. He is also especially skilled at supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
In therapy, Lafayette finds points of connection to client experiences and uses his knowledge to bring about a synthesis of those experiences. His treatment approach is eclectic, drawing on psychodynamic, evidence-based, and existential methods to help clients heal. Lafayette earned a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. He started counseling later in life and has a great deal of synthesized experience to draw on when serving clients.

Lafayette Bagley was very friendly and easy to talk to and listened well,often I have trouble opening up to new therapist,it almost feels awkward,but I didn't feel that way when talking to him. The space was also nice,clean,and comforting,I was also offered tea or coffee which was very nice. Overall I'd say this was a very positive experience.

I felt that I wasn’t heard in this appointment. It was my first time with Lafayette, and he spoke for 80% of our meeting together, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for how I should change my life and method of thinking after only hearing the smallest of details about what I’m going through.
