I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. I have extensive experience working with individuals who seek growth through interpersonal issues. My approach to treatment is tailored to each client's personality and therapeutic goals. Areas of interest include but are not limited to working with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, addiction, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. I enjoy providing a safe and therapeutic setting for clients to explore these challenges. My communication style is always adapted to benefit the client's needs and their ability to receive support. I actively engage with my clients, offering appropriate feedback and clarity throughout the process. I have over 20 years of therapeutic experience, beginning in 1999 in an inpatient facility with children and adolescents. Over the years, my experience has expanded as I have worked with a variety of populations. I was born to be a therapist-I am investigative, intuitive, empathic, and nurturing. I believe in second, third, and fourth chances to become a better you. My focus is to help individuals heal, become inspired, and recognize their inner strengths. I do this by listening to your concerns, customizing a treatment plan, and being part of your support team. I utilize evidence-based practices and a range of treatment modalities to identify goals and objectives. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in life. I promise to respect your rights to self-determination, your course of treatment, and your success. I look forward to walking your journey with you.
