Getting to know Lakeisha Ramsey
I'm Lakeisha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Military Veteran dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges. I aim to provide a safe nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable with exploring your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are dealing with anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career challenges/transition or simply feeling stuck. I believe that with the right support, anyone has the capacity for growth, healing and change. I'm here to walk you through that process.
I earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the Methodist University of North Carolina in 2005. Then I obtained a Master of Social Work with a focus on Individuals and Families/Clinical Mental Health from the University of South Carolina in 2007. I have been practicing Social Work for 17 years and have worked in several different sectors including Outpatient Therapy, Hospital, Medical, Psych Unit and discharge planning. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
