Getting to know Lana Hoyer

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, Santa Barbara. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma work. It's my passion to work with children and young adults, helping them navigate the many challenges they face by teaching them how to manage their feelings and develop better coping skills. I also work with adults and new parents to support them in managing their new identity and improving their parenting skills. My approach to therapy is personable and genuine. I find that my style is especially beneficial for those seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space combined with honest engagement. I'm expressive, use humor, and genuinely enjoy being a therapist.

My goal is to support clients with feeling safe to process their lives and experiences as well as learn new coping skills to better function in life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
