“Lana is very calm and you feel very safe and not rushed at all of talking to her. I liked the little things she suggested me to do and made some difference specially on my eating "compulsion" of eat my emotions. I can recognize what part of myself is asking for the food before I order/take it and so on... we may still have work to do related to other things. But Thank you.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

My focus is couples! Can you stay connected and authentic to yourself? If you stay awake at night with troubling thoughts, feel lonely even when in a relationship, and use distractions of substances, media, sex, or work, I invite you to take ownership of your life. Relational issues in private or professional life, parenting, career decisions, unpleasant symptoms of depression or anxiety, moods preventing enjoyment of life, identity concerns, and problematic behavior patterns are all welcome here as they are our guideposts for exploration. I believe in a holistic approach to healing with the mind, heart, body, and spirit integrated.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a variety of tools to help you learn and accept all parts of you. Compassion mixed with understanding creates a safe environment for exploration. I believe that each of us is our own personal healer. We find partners and sometimes jobs and situations to help us discover our strengths. As a transpersonal therapist, I witness people transforming struggles into treasures.

Lana helped me through the most challenging and upsetting time in my life. I arrived panicked and in constant distress. Patiently, over many months, she helped me move forward when I was ready. This went from just listening as I worked through panic, to finding gentle times to introduce soft questions, then eventually guiding me to reflect more deeply. Through a combination of Lana's help, my own work, and other resources I was able to get to the other side and I'm feeling happiness again. I have grown significantly as a result of this difficult experience with her help.
Lana is the best therapist I've had the pleasure of working with! I've worked with a decent amount of different people so finding a good one is rare. She is intelligent and provides an experienced angle on perspectives. She is easy to talk to, a good listener, and also good at asking questions.
Lana is the best therapist I've worked with! I've had my fair share of different people so I'm super happy to have had found her. She is intelligent and provides an experienced angle on perspectives. She is also a good listener, easy to talk to, and asks good questions.
Lana is an incredible therapist. Now I may not be the most experienced person with therapy, but before I went through Lana I went through two other therapists. I was frustrated because those first therapists had a clear understanding of my situation, but did not have a good understanding of me as an individual and how that influences how I navigate my circumstances. I knew I needed someone who is able to not just take what I say at face value, but be able to put together the pieces of what it says about my overall being. I was pretty lost when I first met Lana, but I've learned a lot about myself through talking and expressing to her. And although there is still a lot that I'm learning, I feel like I'm at a place in which I'm more confident to navigate uncertainty. I'm more confidently lost. Lana's goal is not to fix your life for you, but for you to find it within yourself to fix your own life. Lana if you're reading this, thank you again for everything.
I have been meeting with Lana for 8 months now. She is compassionate and very patient with me while I navigate through my daily struggles and deep rooted depression She is working with me through my addictions and has advised me on what I need to do to start my recovery. I'm also learning about alternative methods of breathing to help with my anxiety and stress. She is timely and flexible with her schedule. I would highly recommend Lana to anyone that needs gentle guidance especially if it's your first time meeting with a therapist. I am very please with her.
Lana is wonderful individual and family therapist. She has provided a safe space for me to open up about my feelings and emotions. She also taught me to incorporate mindful practices in my daily routine to relieve pain in my body created by stress and anxiety.
I saw Lana for career counseling. She replied to my emails quickly and gave me lots of information about the process before we started and as I progressed through the process. It was very informative to learn about my preferences and why I might have developed these preferences. It also helped me to think about career and fulfillment from different prospectives than I had before. I am still in my career search, but this counseling helped me identify what is missing in my career now and a direction of where to start looking to fill these holes in the future. I recommend Lana and this process to anyone looking to change careers. It was easy to open up and talk to Lana and she lead me through the process with care and always explaining things to me and why we were doing them, which I enjoyed very much.
Lana was my first therapist and she was very professional and patient. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but I felt comfortable with her as she had me try things I hadn’t before. She was able to help me develop some new ways of thinking about myself and explore my feelings about my behaviors and my beliefs about myself.
