Landan especially values a support system during times of loss or change because he has grieved his own losses. After his late father passed away, he faced life without a dad and role model who always gave him strong advice, solutions, and guidance. Landan recognizes that these secondary losses, such as a loss of safety, comfort, or self, are experienced universally. When volunteering as a group facilitator with Voices of Grief, an organization providing supportive spaces to honor the natural process of grief and to educate the community on healthy expressions of grief and mourning, Landan sees how participants' shared pain allows them to relate, unite, and heal. As a triplet, Landan cherishes deep connections with his siblings-who often finish each other's sentences-and enjoys visiting them and other family in South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and his Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University. Living in Colorado is a joy because connecting with nature helps him connect with himself. He invites you to connect with him and find the support you deserve.
