Hi there, I'm Larcenia! Hello, I am Larcenia McDaniel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor's degree from La Sierra University. My passion and specialties are working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, as well as supporting parent/child relationships and addressing parenting difficulties. My approach I focus on helping families and children build strong relationships that promote healthy attachment and a sense of belonging. I also utilize trauma-informed care to create a safe space for healing and developing healthy coping skills after traumatic experiences. My focus I typically work with children and adolescents between the ages of 0-21. My communication style I aim to create a safe, judgment-free environment for my clients. I often use jokes and humor to foster a positive and interactive experience. My journey to mental healthcare Becoming a therapist was not something I initially saw for myself, but my calling to be a helpful healer has become my sense of purpose and passion. I truly enjoy witnessing families and clients recognize their own progress in treatment, and I am grateful they allow me to be part of their healing journeys. My goals for you I am very client-centered when setting goals and always go at the client's pace. Clients have full autonomy in their care and can express when they feel they have what they need.
