I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in Sexual Assault and Trauma. My practice solely focuses on my clients' healing journey and making my clients comfortable living the best life they can post-trauma. My approach As a clinical mental health therapist, I tailor my practice to fit my clients' needs. When my clients are stressed, depressed, and not feeling as if they have no voice, my purpose is to uplift my clients during the session so they walk out feeling better and have the coping skills they need to take on the world. My focus My client focus is on survivors who have been sexually assaulted and have experienced trauma. I am here to listen, empathize, advocate, and to make sure you are heard, to guide in healing, and to be a great resource and support system for you. My communication style My communication is to first focus on the most important person in the session, and that is the client. That is listening to my client and ensuring they are safe. I also cheer my clients on as they progress to their amazing futures. My journey to mental healthcare Being a clinical mental health counselor is not just a job, but my purpose. As a child sexual abuse survivor, I understand how hard the healing journey can be, and want to be there to support others who have experienced something that will never be their fault, that they did not cause or deserve. I want all survivors to know that they too can heal. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals through treatment plans and goals listed by the client. My job is to work side by side with my client as they continue to grow stronger in their journey.
