Hello, my name is Latrell Holland. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in VA and DC. I graduated from Radford University with my MSW in 2020 and during that time I completed a didactic training that focused on training students to provide mental health services for individuals with a dual diagnosis. I possess over 6 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the main driver of trying to create change within your life. I consider my clients to be the experts of their experiences as I walk alongside them. I want to help you discover your inner strengths to be able to thrive in life and not just survive. I have worked in a variety of different settings such as inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, schools, and residential facilities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I utilize a person centered approach along with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) , dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and a strengths based approach.
