Laura completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education at York College of Pennsylvania and her Master of Social Work with a focus on clinical practice with children and families at Monmouth University. In counseling, Laura focuses on meeting clients where they are in their journey and understanding their experience alongside identifying what skills or support is needed in helping them meet their goals. These skills can range from cognitive behavioral, anger management, mindfulness, acceptance, and relational approaches. Laura strives to build a therapeutic relationship in which empathy and understanding are at the core to build insight and assist clients in living a life they find meaningful and joyful.
