Getting to know Laura Jorgenson

Your story is important and is not done being written. I would love to help you work through the parts of your story that maybe causing issues in your current life. I have been told I am not a traditional therapist. However, I am a goal-oriented therapist. Which means I want my clients to be working towards something, whatever it maybe. I believe in the mind body connection and how stored emotions effect our body, which ultimately impacts our quality of life. My goal is to help each person find their solutions so that they can live fully and continue writing the next chapter of their story.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I help clients process their story and create a new narrative so that they can finally let go of what is holding them back or keeping them stuck. I use IFS/parts work, somatic/body work, and EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with individuals who are struggling with relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, adult-onset ADHD, stress, grief/loss, identity concerns, difficult life transitions, sex addiction and partners betrayed by sex addiction. I also provide counseling for First Responders. I look forward to helping you create the next chapter in your story.
