Getting to know Laura Ramirez
Hola! Hello! My name is Laura! I am a first-generation daughter of immigrants. I grew up in beautiful Mexico, but the need for a better future led my family to leave the country and family behind. I know firsthand how hard it can be to feel connected to yourself and navigate difficult experiences in life. I also understand how challenging reaching out for help can be, especially in the Latinx community.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, which has equipped me with the skills to support you effectively. I love to integrate mindfulness, music, and humor to help you reconnect with your authentic self and recognize your strengths and qualities. If you are bilingual in Spanish and English, we can do therapy in Spanglish!
My goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for you, and I will do everything I can to ensure this. I hope we can build a positive working and therapeutic relationship to help you achieve your goals!
What should a new client know about working with you?
Although I cannot guarantee any sort of outcome in therapy I will guarantee you will receive my attention, support and listening. I am a firm believer that human connection can be incredibly healing for people. I hope that you are able to feel empowered and motivated to make the changes in your life to feel better. You can expect transparency and honesty from me. I do not pretend to know it all, you know yourself best! I will honor your decisions and provide full support.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
