I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Specialization in Christian Sex Therapy. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2000. Before receiving my professional license, I worked as a counselor at a behavioral health hospital for seven years and as a caseworker for Child Protective Services.
My approach
Being a counselor allows me the privilege of walking alongside someone through their struggles all the way to healing. I strive to provide a safe environment that encourages clients to be themselves, free of judgment. I favor Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Client-Centered approach.
My focus
I welcome working with clients facing anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, anger management, and sexual-related issues such as abuse, assault, dysfunction, and addiction. I support those seeking positive emotional and behavioral changes.

I maintain eye contact, create a calm atmosphere, listen attentively, and use a reassuring tone.
