Hello, I'm Lauren. I received my BA in Sociology at the University of Akron in 2006 and my Master's degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in 2011. Since becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2019, I've had the privilege of working with youth, individuals, and families in various counseling settings. My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic and family systems theories. I firmly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and aim to help you engage and enhance your capacity for introspection, reflection, and self-awareness. Through our work together, I hope to support you in better understanding and navigating your past, present, and future, allowing you to feel empowered and hopeful despite any grief, loss, or hardships you may face. I have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, loss, and grief, family separation, and anxiety and depression diagnoses. My goal is to meet the specific and unique needs of each client in an environment that fosters trust, compassion, and validation. I strive to ensure that each client feels heard, supported, and empowered. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outdoors, reading, and baking.
