She provides strength-based, trauma-informed therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Lauren offers person-centered therapy and believes each client is the expert in their own life. My approach I have 15 years of practice in the mental health field and utilize a variety of approaches to assist clients in reaching their goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Positive Psychology, and Psychoeducation. My focus I work with clients of all ages who are experiencing disruptions in their life. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, psychosis, anger, mania, addiction, insomnia, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, or have witnessed one or more traumatic events, please contact me for support. My communication style I consider myself open, honest, and authentic. In talking with me, you can expect validation, respect, and unconditional positive regard. My journey to therapy Experiencing adversity and developing resilience led me to a career in psychotherapy. Through my own journey, I have developed the hope that no matter what you are experiencing, you can overcome it. Holding that hope for others is less of a job and more of a purpose in my life. It is an honor for me to work with people who are motivated by their pain and willing to seek change. My goals for you Let's look at what you want and what you don’t want in your life. After all, these are your goals; they need to be meaningful to YOU.
