My name is Lauren Rosen and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Delaware. I know what it's like to feel backed into a corner and how helpful it can be to have that extra support. Finding a therapist can be similar to finding the right school, the right shoes, or the right couch for your new apartment; sometimes it’s a fit right away and other times it’s a process. I work with individuals to create the most comfortable fit in our work together, using a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy and viewing the therapeutic process as a team effort. I emphasize the importance of working with a therapist that fits for you. As an EMDR trained therapist I specialize in working with individuals looking to heal from trauma, and incorporate several treatment modalities to best fit your individual needs. I work with teens and young adults going through life transitions, survivors of sexual assault/DV, individuals struggling with substance use and/or history of incarceration, people looking to learn how to cope with mental health diagnoses and symptoms, and families looking to strengthen their relationships with one another. I work diligently to foster a safe and trusting environment to provide the best possible services. My clients are the experts in their own lives and contrary to popular belief, I can only read your mind with your help!
