Getting to know Lauren Staley Stone
I have a background in residential, community, and private practice settings. I believe in empowering individuals and families to overcome personal obstacles to improve their lives and well-being because I believe in the power of whole-body health. Using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions, I have over 14 years of experience in holistic mental health and wellness treatment. I am a licensed mental health counselor and qualified substance abuse professional with specializations in integrated health issues, trauma-informed treatment, anxiety, life transitions, and mood-related concerns. I am also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In my work, I practice with the belief of helping individuals heal through body, mind, and spirit, providing the highest quality counseling services to all clients to reach their maximum potential. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
