Getting to know Lauren Walden
Hello! I take a warm and direct approach to therapy as we journey through examining your life. I believe that exploring our core beliefs, relationships, and inner drives can lead to deeper connections to life and to others. I believe you have strengths you haven't yet recognized in yourself; I believe in your ability to feel grounded, more connected, at ease, and whole.
I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Boston College. My experience spans psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and hospital settings, working with adolescents and adults struggling with disease processes, mental health and trauma-related challenges, body image disturbances, as well as substance use dependencies.
I am a Latinx queer womxn. I am LGBTQ+ aligned, body positive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based.

Lauren has been absolutely wonderful. I didn’t have a main reason for therapy just knew I was unhappy and in our short time together have started to unpacked and heal things I didn’t even know I needed to.

Lauren is amazing! In the past my therapists were not a great fit and I had unfortunate experiences with them. This is the first time that I feel like I am being listened to and given help. I enjoy my sessions very much and look forward to a path of healing.
