My journey to mental healthcare As a child, I grew up assisting my Paternal grandmother, who owned a neighborhood community store. In the store was a long wooden bench. Neighbors, customers, and friends would come to the store, sit, and talk about their problems. During these discussions, I realized the key to life was talking about your problems to people who care. My goals for you Clients are able to reach their goals through the creation of a space that allows for the identification and discussion of problems. Clients will be able to identify their problems and use cognitive behavioral skills to assist with solutions. Results of the use of the skills will be discussed. Once the client's goals are met, treatment ends.
