Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, or weighed down by life’s challenges. Whether you are coping with trauma, navigating a major life transition, or struggling to find balance and connection, I offer a supportive space to help you explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to heal. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and neurodiversity, including ADHD and Autism. I work with children(5+), adolescents, and adults, helping clients at different stages of life strengthen relationships, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping. Clients often describe me as compassionate, accepting, and effective. Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you, balancing insight and understanding with practical tools for change. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the California School of Professional Psychology and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA. My training includes experience in university counseling centers, community mental health agencies, and nonprofit organizations. I have provided care across San Diego County and now in the South Bay area. My approach integrates psychodynamic and relational therapy with evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). Drawing from my background in neuroscience and brain imaging research at the Greater Los Angeles VA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I bridge scientific understanding with the lived human experience, helping clients connect mind, body, and emotion. My passion lies in helping people not only manage their pain but rediscover meaning, purpose, and connection in their lives. Registered Psychological Associate (#PSB94029200) Supervised by Dr. Michael Collins, Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist (#PSY20415)

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients describe me as warm, accepting, and effective. I see myself as walking alongside you, not pushing or telling you who to be. My role is to create a safe and supportive space where you can be yourself, explore what is keeping you stuck, and take steps toward change at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, I draw from approaches that explore both the deeper patterns shaping your struggles and the practical tools that help you manage them day to day. I believe lasting change happens when insight and action come together, and when therapy balances compassion with gentle challenge.
