My mission is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with hope. My approach My approach is through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, based on the idea that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. I focus on identifying and altering negative thought patterns to change an individual’s behavioral and emotional state. My focus I work with and support clients navigating various life challenges, including traumatic grief/child loss, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress management, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. My clients are individuals ready to work through their struggles and achieve personal growth. My communication style Clients find my communication style warm, approachable, and easygoing, making it easier to open up and feel heard. I am committed to creating an atmosphere that is both accepting and non-judgmental, where every individual is welcomed just as they are. The environment I provide is calm and peaceful, designed to foster emotional healing and personal growth. Whether you’re navigating grief or working through life’s difficulties, I offer a supportive space where you can be yourself, express your feelings, and take steps toward a more balanced and empowered future. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist has been deeply personal and shaped by life experiences that profoundly impacted me. The loss of my son, Thomas, in 2022 was a defining moment in my life. Navigating my own grief and healing process gives me an intimate understanding of the complexities of losing a child. I felt a calling to provide the kind of support, compassion, and guidance that I myself had needed.
