Getting to know Leah Ratcliff
I’m a trauma-informed therapist and founder of Roots Healing Alliance, where I support individuals and couples in deep, integrative healing that connects mind, body, and lived experience. My work is rooted in both clinical training and lived experience, I’ve been drawn to understanding people and emotional depth for as long as I can remember, and I bring that lifelong curiosity into the therapy space. I specialize in helping clients make sense of anxiety, trauma, and relationship patterns through a blend of psychodynamic, somatic, attachment-based, and interpersonal approaches. I also incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Critical Memory Integration (CMI), and brain-based strategies to support emotional processing and nervous system regulation. Clients often describe my style as direct, warm, and authentically human, with a sense of humor that helps make heavy work feel more approachable. I don’t show up with a “therapist mask,” but as a real person who can sit with struggle while also helping you move through it. I work especially well with therapists, healers, and high-insight clients who are ready for meaningful, lasting change.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
