As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with 20 years of counseling experience, I look forward to walking beside you on this journey, supporting your efforts however I can. My therapeutic process is client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused, often working within a cognitive behavioral frame of reference. My clinical approach, treatment strategy, and therapy modality are tailored to your individual needs. Together, we can explore the most comfortable and valuable ways to address your therapy goals and desired outcomes. I received my undergraduate education in psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale-Go Salukis! I hold a master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, along with professional licensure in Illinois and certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to foster a supportive, safe and caring environment within each of my client sessions. I encourage open communication to best understand each other and build the mutual respect needed to ensure our counseling relationship is beneficial and effective. We will work collaboratively to identify goals and desires, build new skills, strengthen current skills, so that each of my clients can look towards the future with hope and confidence.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
