Hi, my name is Lenny Hughley, California license #112845. I like to create a space that is warm and nonjudgmental where individuals can freely talk about whatever they choose. My specialties include depression, anxiety, and stress management. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. My approach My theoretical approaches include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. My focus I have experience with persons who suffer from addiction, anger, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, career counseling, depression, and racial trauma. My communication style I am an empathetic listener who acknowledges all clients' needs to be heard. My journey to therapy Through therapy, I learned how to manage depression, anger, anxiety, and overcome low self-esteem. Through my practice, I find it rewarding to help clients do the same. My goals for you During each session, I review with clients progress they may have made, areas they are still struggling with, and explore which areas they would like to improve going forward. My first session with you Our first session will be to gain insight, build rapport, and decide if I am a good "fit" for the client.
