Leslie Davis, LCSW

Leslie Davis, LCSW

Psychotherapist
VA
My role is not to ?save the world? or ?empower? my clients. I believe that together, my clients and I can work alongside each other to reach their goals. I became a mental health provider because our mental health shapes and forms other aspects of our lives. Mental health is vital! I have been a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019. I have experience supporting children, adolescents/young adults, and adults with concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, marital counseling, anger management, acute inpatient, and partial hospitalization. I don't believe my role as a therapist is to ?save the world? or ?empower? my clients. Instead, I believe that together, my clients and I can work alongside each other to assist them in identifying tools within themselves and community resources to successfully reach their goals. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my new Siberian Husky puppy, home decor, cooking, and quality time with family. The types of therapy I offer include, but are not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Culturally Sensitive approaches, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
