Leslie Hering is a mental health clinical trainee working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. I view counseling as an opportunity for individuals, couples and families to experience self-exploration, healing and personal growth in their lives. Focusing on solution based outcomes, and healthy relationship building, using mainly a Person Centered approach that includes tools from both Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused approaches. I am committed to working with clients to understand how their past and present intersect and how those intersections impact their daily lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is holistic covering physical, spiritual, mental, emotional and overall well-being. My goal is to create an environment to allow clients the time and space to explore their struggles, to better understand themselves, their emotions, their strengths, their growth areas and how they want to present themselves to the world. My approach also includes personal responsibility and action-based change for the best outcome of all involved.
