Hello, I'm Leteria, and I am here for you. Looking for someone who will listen and try to understand? Need help figuring out what you want or need? Do you want to better understand yourself and some of the decisions you've made or continue to make? Do you want help communicating better with others? I want to help you understand yourself, your partner, and the issues facing you. Let's figure it out together, where it's okay to be vulnerable and not have to be strong all the time. Let's work on what you need and how you can get as close as possible. I have experience working with teens, adults, and couples. I have worked with survivors of abuse and trauma for over 20 years through child welfare; as a result, I have extensive knowledge and understanding of the challenges parenting brings and what trauma can do to the individual and the family unit. My 15 years of counseling experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with anxiety, panic episodes, self-esteem, PTSD, pre-marital counseling, infidelity issues, and couples. I hold a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Chicago State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

There are going to be days in which there will be homework to provide more insight and growth on the situation and as a means of developing additional understanding into behavior, thinking errors and emotional disruptions. We will explore and discuss issues with the hope of uncovering the best way to tackle tough issues and build resiliency, that bounce back impact.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
