Heather Arnold, LCSW, is a therapist who is passionate about supporting people through some of life’s most difficult and meaningful experiences, including grief, loss, trauma, and major life transitions. She also has training in postpartum mental health and understands how overwhelming that season of life can feel. Whether a client feels stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what comes next, Heather works collaboratively with them to better understand their experiences and identify ways to move forward.

Heather utilizes a combination of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. In her work with clients, she explores patterns in thoughts and emotions, helps build coping skills, and supports individuals in developing practical tools they can use in their everyday lives. Her approach is collaborative and approachable, ensuring therapy feels relevant and meaningful for each person.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Heather earned her Master’s degree in Social Work and became a certified grief therapist in 2020. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a residential facility with at-risk youth, a county mental health clinic, and private practice. In addition to her individual work with clients, Heather leads and facilitates therapy groups and supports the development of group programs, helping create opportunities for individuals to heal within a supportive community. Clients often describe Heather as warm, honest, and easy to talk to. She believes therapy should be a space where individuals feel supported, respected, and able to move at their own pace, while also being gently encouraged toward growth. Whether someone is working through grief, processing past experiences, or trying to make sense of where they are in life, Heather is committed to providing guidance and support every step of the way.
