It can feel lonely to deal with the stress and pain that life throws at you, which is why I'm here with a strong dedication to work alongside you when it gets rough. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I will collaborate with you on your journey of healing and growth. My focus I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. Collaborating with me will involve exploring these issues while building skills that improve your quality of life and well-being. My approach My style always centers on the person, including their unique preferences and goals. The work we do together is led by you first and foremost, while I ensure that you feel emotionally supported throughout the process. I provide a combination of skills and approaches tailored to your journey in creating a life worth living. My communication style I use clear communication that is comforting and compassionate, making sure that you feel safe and supported. You determine the pace of our sessions while I ensure that you are making the progress you're aiming for. My journey to mental healthcare Growing up, I faced my own struggles with mental health that exposed me to the world of clinical psychology. With my lifelong passion for helping others, I realized I enjoy providing emotional support to people who may feel alone and disempowered. I care about having an understanding of our social issues and how they influence a person's health. My goals for you In the initial stages of therapy, we collaborate on creating goals that are realistic and measurable in order to track your progress. Once we know the goals, I use a wide range of therapy tools, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and IPT, so we can dive right into the work. Our first session I start with an introductory session where I focus on understanding your story in a comforting and nonjudgmental space. We'll also discuss what you want to accomplish in therapy so that we have a clear picture of the progress you envision.
