After receiving my license in Mental Health Counseling, I became supervisor of the clinic while still maintaining a caseload. This experience exposed me to all socio-economic statuses, relationship issues, substance abuse, and the foster care system. Other populations included college-age clients and the challenges associated with that phase of life. Something common among them all was dissatisfaction in one or more domains of life they were seeking assistance in improving. I take a strengths-based approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused methods to create a therapeutic partnership characterized by creativity, flexibility, and empathy. I look forward to establishing a warm, motivational partnership to help build on your strengths
