My name is Dr. Linda Timme. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified by the National Board of Social Work in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Temple University. As a bilingual clinical therapist with over 15 years of experience in mental health, I specialize in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, complex trauma resulting from grief and loss, domestic violence, and other traumatic events.
Life transitions are difficult and can lead to challenges such as cultural adjustment, prejudice and discrimination, decreased self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. I base my therapy on a powerful blend of traditional and holistic approaches that are client-centered and evidence-based. These techniques have proven effective in treating multiple and co-occurring conditions.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My core value is to create a foundation for lifelong mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I have leadership experience in behavioral health outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and private practices. After traveling to South America, Africa, Europe, and other countries, I have served in various multinational settings and engaged as a worldwide educator. I am here to help.
