Getting to know Lindsay Eidman

I believe each person has the innate capacity to heal, and that a trusting relationship with a therapist can be a support in that journey. Therapy should be a collaborative process, where you feel comfortable asking questions, can build clarity, and gain momentum toward your goals. My work and training is grounded in attachment theory and in understanding how connection with others impacts us across the life span. I also see the ways that mindfulness, creative expression, and movement can also be powerful tools for healing and aim to integrate them into my practice. Above all, I strive to provide a space where you feel truly seen and can share openly. I live in Washington, D.C. with my family, and as a mom of two I understand the challenges that come with embracing your new identity while also not forgetting who you are outside of being a parent.
