Psychotherapist
MA
Choosing therapy can feel overwhelming. I believe the therapeutic relationship sparks healing. I work with you and/or your child to tailor goals that matter most. I specialize in children, adolescents, and young adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions—offering a safe, supportive space to begin healing. My approach Building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my approach. I tailor therapy to each person, drawing from CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Person-Centered, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. I'm flexible, client-centered, and can integrate mindfulness or other tools to help you meet your goals. My focus Does your child or teen struggle with school, low self-esteem, or negative self-talk? I work with youth facing anxiety, school avoidance, depression, ADHD, trauma, and more. Together, we’ll identify the root of behaviors and build coping skills so your child can succeed and feel confident in any environment. My communication style I value clear, open communication and create a supportive, non-judgmental space through active listening and empathy. I'm calm and patient during challenges and offer space to reflect on experiences. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and am committed to helping you or your child feel supported in our work together. My journey to mental healthcare As someone who struggled with school anxiety myself, I knew that I wanted to be the person who supported other children in managing this feeling. After graduate school, I started as a therapist in a Community Mental Health agency. I am now an Adjustment Counselor in a school and provide therapy on the side.
