Psychotherapist
CA
My name is Lindsay Lowe and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in California. I have 15 years of experience working with death and dying, grief, loss, and bereavement. I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Masters in Social Work in 2008, then did a post-graduate fellowship in Palliative Care with the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and for the last 12 years have worked in hospice and palliative care providing direct care as well as 8 years in a supervisory position managing a clinical team. I combine my years of experience to provide my clients with highly supportive, well-rounded, comprehensive treatment. I consider myself a client-centered, eclectic therapist drawing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as strength-based approach, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy to meet the needs of my clients. I maintain a clear and genuine relationship with my clients and focus on the quality of life and services provided to each individual. The client-therapist relationship is valued and cared for with utmost respect. I understand the uniqueness of the struggles my clients are faced with and I am committed to helping support you in your journey. My main focus is to assist my clients in a way they feel valued, validated, supported, worthy and listened to. I will keep an open space for my clients to share in an open and non-judgmental environment while helping them adapt to positive coping techniques to help improve their moods. I want to help clients find a deeper understanding of their unique path, one we can walk down together to help achieve relief, hope and a sense of calm in their life. It is scary, and sometimes overwhelming to figure it out alone. Fortunately, clients are not required to do this alone, and I can help.
