Lindsey Lowtharpe, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NC
Hello! I am licensed in North Carolina with six years of professional experience. I help clients navigate relationship issues, family conflicts, parenting challenges, life changes, anxiety, depression, motivation, self-esteem, career difficulties, school problems, financial struggles, and more. My focused expertise includes life changes related to personal relationships, career transitions, loss, and relationship concerns such as trust, infidelity, STDs, jealousy, commitment, attachment issues, and codependency. I have worked in-home with families of children on juvenile probation and am trained in Functional Family Therapy, which examines family functions and each member’s roles and behaviors to find solutions to presenting problems. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you through that process. My therapy style is solution-focused and relatively fast-paced. I typically work with clients seeking brief therapy for life changes, adjustment, or support with parenting and relationships.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
