Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there, I'm Lindsey! If you’re ready to process your story on a deeper level while also learning new ways to create change in your daily life, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that journey. Together, we’ll look at how your past may be impacting your present patterns, thoughts, and relationships. Reach out if you're ready to take that step towards change. My approach My approach is integrative, rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy. I believe meaningful change happens through insight, emotional processing, and then taking action. I also provide psychoeducation, coping strategies, and practical tools such as worksheets to help you track and shift patterns. My focus I typically see clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or family or relationship distress. I have experience helping those overcome OCD, cope with bipolar disorder, and increase self-esteem. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my work, as it allows for deep processing and development of practical solutions for change. My communication style Clients often describe me as direct but supportive—I listen deeply and create a safe, nonjudgmental space, but I’ll also step in to guide, challenge, and ask the hard questions when needed. My journey to mental healthcare Experiencing my own trauma and losses has led me to this career path. Since then, my motivation to pursue becoming a mental health counselor has been to be that listening ear for those who feel alone. I want my clients to know that there is hope and that someone cares. My goals for you I focus on how past experiences shape present patterns, while also incorporating cognitive-behavioral tools and psychoeducation to help clients create meaningful change. To provide the best treatment, I also incorporate SMART goals to refine your long- and short-term goals throughout our time together.
