What should a new client know about working with you?

Lindsey believes in the power of creativity and play as therapeutic tools. She integrates these techniques into her sessions to foster emotional exploration and healing, combining them with evidence-based approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and multicultural therapy (MCT). Her commitment to diversity and cultural awareness is essential to her practice, ensuring that each client’s unique background and experiences are respected and valued. What is your typical process for working with clients?

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERAPY SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED WEEKLY ON THE SAME DAY AND TIME. Clients will typically have 2 intake sessions in which the therapist will ask some questions about their presenting issue, upbringing, current living situation, support system, symptoms, and experiences across the lifespan. The therapist will then issue a diagnosis and set up a treatment plan for the client, which may involve weekly therapy sessions for a certain period of time.
