My approach My approach to therapy is flexible and individualized. I use a variety of techniques and theoretical orientations to address a client’s needs. I always consider the client’s unique needs, expectations, and motivation and may use a combination of methods from different disciplines. My focus I have experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral concerns in home, community, and school settings. I also specialize in parenting by providing nurturing parenting education. I believe it is important to partner with parents, supporting them by providing positive strategies to promote healthy child-parent relationships. My communication style I believe the process of therapy involves partnering together to promote a healthy therapeutic relationship with a sense of safety, trust, and acceptance while setting achievable goals and helping the client achieve self-acceptance, leading to a secure, healthy sense of self. My goals for you I partner with clients to set measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound goals that each client feels confident about working toward in each session.
