I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-S). I have been a practicing clinician since 2003.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will sometimes have a soft approach but I can also be very direct. I do not have a cookie cutter approach when working with my clients. I have spent many years working with clients with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Addiction, Codependency, Disordered Eating, and Relationship issues, whether it be as an individual or as a couple. I use various treatment types, including CBT to address Thinking Errors, for example worrying about something that we Think might happen. Our minds race at times with thoughts that affect our feelings. I will help you slow down those thoughts and replace them with manageable feelings.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first few sessions, I will ask questions to get to know you. I will also ask why you have chosen to make this decision to choose therapy and what you are hoping for during this process. I will also answer any questions and share how we keep your information confidential. No matter what you bring to therapy, I will not judge you. When meeting with me you will find a safe space to share your issues; past and present.
