OH
Hello, I'm Lisa. We all experience difficult times or situations in our lives, and helping you work through these situations in a way that you need is my ultimate goal. As your therapist, I am here to support and guide you in navigating solutions to the struggles you are facing. I am here to listen and explore options that will work best for you, in a safe and open place. I have various tools and techniques to offer, but you will guide what will work best for you and your life. I offer a safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings and how to manage these. I will always honor your comfort level in the change process. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and it has been my path for over 20 years to help support others in their time of need. I hold a master's degree in community counseling and a bachelor's degree in family and child development. Throughout my 20-plus years of experience, I have worked in a variety of ways with families, adults, and adolescents during difficult times. Some of these situations included stress management, anger management, anxiety, life transitions, decision making, parents experiencing behavior struggles with their teens—specifically Oppositional Defiant Disorder, teens struggling with authority, as well as general teen struggles. I previously worked in adoption and also spent 13 years providing Multi-Systemic Therapy. I focus on evidence-based techniques to help you achieve your goals of treatment, with my main goal of meeting you where you are in your journey. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with ADHD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, life transitions, stress, and LGBTQIA+ support. I also provide support for those on the autism spectrum and those with learning disorders. When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I believe in creating a therapeutic space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take steps towards positive change. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or looking for general support, I'm here to help you navigate your path. If you're ready to start this journey together, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to find the best path forward for you.
