I’m so glad you’re here. From the very beginning of my career, I’ve been drawn to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, find their inner strength, and create meaningful change. With a background in both clinical social work and elementary education, I bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic process—one that combines compassion, expertise, and a deep understanding of personal and family dynamics. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families as they face a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My mission as a therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, discover new perspectives, and develop the tools you need to thrive. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, improve relationships, or gain clarity and confidence in your life, I’m here to help you take that next step toward becoming the best version of yourself. I strongly believe in a strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients build upon their past successes and positive attributes as they develop coping skills and strategies to be the best version of themselves. I specialize in child, adolescent, and adult therapy. Additionally, I provide parent coaching and family consultation, offering tailored support that empowers individuals and strengthens family connections. I also have extensive experience supporting executive functioning skills, helping clients develop strategies for organization, focus, and time management. Some of my areas of strength include working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation. I have successfully helped clients navigate difficult family dynamics, including co-dependency, caring for aging parents, and developing parenting strategies to create a calm, safe home environment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that it is important to develop trust and respect between a therapist and client. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that blends compassion, empathy, and honesty. I seek to help clients gain answers to their own questions through open-ended questions, reflection, and the exploration of emotions. My goal is to help clients gain the tools and strategies necessary to be successful without therapy, becoming their own therapists. I started my career as an elementary educator, and eventually took time off to support and raise my children. I have always had the drive and mission to help others, specifically in a therapeutic setting. My lived experiences with my family gave me a continued drive to understand mental health and explore ways to enable others to thrive, even through challenging life circumstances. I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, and spent time in private practice, as well as in school settings as a School Social Worker. I believe that I have a unique blend of life experience, coupled with an extensive background in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is very goal-driven. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their backgrounds, struggles, and motivations, and together we create achievable, realistic goals. I utilize my first session with clients as an opportunity to get to know each other and to begin to develop a rapport. I strive to leave the first session with a clear understanding of the reasons a client is seeking therapy, as well as knowledge about their background and lived experiences.
