I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a graduate of Seton Hall University in New Jersey, where I earned both my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology. I have worked in the field of Mental Health and Human Services for over twenty years. During this time, I've had the opportunity to connect with individuals at various points along life's journey. I have had the privilege of working with culturally, economically, and ethically diverse individuals. As a practical, interactive, solution-focused counselor, my approach is to provide support, insight, and feedback to assist you with your current concerns while also addressing persistent issues from the past. My overall desire is to create an emotional and physical space where you feel seen and heard. Therapy can be emotionally demanding but also life-transforming. I welcome the opportunity to be part of your healing process!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Thus far in both my personal and professional life, I have witnessed or experienced situations that take us by surprise. These are the circumstances that happen suddenly with little to no notice but become life defining. Perhaps the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, depression or anxiety creeps in and begins affecting day to day life, we experience a traumatic event, etc. When life happens we can find ourselves having emotional responses we are not sure how to handle. I have learned that during those times, it's often helpful to have support to be the best version of ourselves. Friends and family members may be helpful but at particularly challenging times-you may need a professional.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
