I approach our first session wanting to know exactly where you are and what you need today. People usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind or a problem to solve. If you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, I assure you that you will feel more peaceful and calm after just one session, and you will leave knowing you can address what is going on. We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves, thinking that will promote change, but it often causes procrastination, depression, and anxiety. To help with this, I offer my book, endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, on self-forgiveness—find it on Amazon and Barnes & Noble: *The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness.* I also host the podcast *All Things Therapy,* available on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 410 episodes for you to explore. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy.

Clients report that they feel better after just one session and leave with a profound sense of peace. I intend that at every meeting, and sessions are designed so that by the end of our time together for that day, you feel that you have reached a natural place to pause and reflect.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
