I did my bachelor's at Meredith and did my master's at UNCW. I worked with immigrants and refugees then switched over to clinical support with the supporting Latino and Hispanics in mental health. I found a passion to work with children and teens. Most teens face a struggle for finding who they are, feeling unsupported or unheard and face some challenges in school and at home. I work with them to find themselves and explore to get to understand who they are and feel confident. My style is to work with the client and their parents. I do fun and creative activities to get the client engaged like art therapy, play therapy, music therapy. I let the client lead with what they wanna work on, if there is nothing I would have something to do. I also tend to have some resources to help the client grow and give a space for clients.
