Psychotherapist

I help men who feel stuck, disconnected, or trapped in patterns they can’t seem to break—especially when it comes to issues like pornography, sex, or other process addictions. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate and Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in helping men understand the deeper emotional, relational, and spiritual roots of their struggles rather than just focusing on “stopping a behavior.” Many of the men I work with are high-functioning and successful on the outside, but privately feel guilt, shame, anxiety, or a sense that they’re living two lives. My approach helps them develop clarity about what’s driving their behavior, courage to face hard truths, and connection that leads to genuine freedom and integrity. I believe counseling should be both practical and transformative—a space where you feel challenged and supported, not judged. Whether the goal is recovery from pornography, rebuilding trust in a relationship, or becoming more grounded and confident, I aim to help men become more fully themselves, not just “fix” a problem.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take an honest, relational, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. You won’t get quick fixes or surface-level advice—you’ll get space to explore what’s really going on underneath. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences have shaped your current patterns, and how to build a different way forward. As a CSAT-Candidate, I’m trained to work specifically with compulsive sexual behaviors and pornography addiction through a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens. That means we’ll look at how shame, stress, and unmet emotional needs can drive unwanted behaviors—and we’ll work together to build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and finding purpose. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and direct. I aim to create a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment and begin developing real confidence, clarity, and courage.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work typically begins with an initial intake session, where we’ll discuss your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. From there, we’ll collaborate to create a plan tailored to you—whether that’s focused on recovery from sexual or pornography addiction, managing anxiety and stress, or improving relationships and self-worth. Early sessions often center around understanding the patterns that keep you stuck: the triggers, emotions, and beliefs that drive behavior. As therapy progresses, we’ll integrate practical tools drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of trauma and attachment work used in CSAT training. We’ll also focus on strengthening key areas of growth—like self-awareness, emotional regulation, honesty, and connection with others. For clients working through sexual or pornography addiction, I may incorporate specific CSAT assessments and structured recovery work to help you move from secrecy and shame toward integrity and freedom. Most clients begin with weekly or every other week sessions to build momentum and consistency, and we’ll adjust frequency as you grow and gain traction in your work.
