Hi there, I'm Lois! Lois Pratt, LPC. I am a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee. My counseling style is laid back. I'm here to help you sort through difficult things and offer a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. My approach I commonly use person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate with a good sense of humor. I focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. My focus I work with individuals, couples, and families. Those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflicts, and marital difficulties are welcome. I also specialize in working with children and teens coping with ADHD and behavioral issues. My communication style I offer a safe space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear or judgment. My journey to mental healthcare Growing up, I was concerned for others facing difficulties and would help whenever I could. Initially, I pursued a business degree but realized it wasn’t my calling. I then earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and became an LPC. My goals for you I help clients identify their current status and expectations, then set short-term and long-term goals. My first session with you During the first session, we will introduce ourselves so I can get to know who you really are beyond your presenting concerns.
