Unfortunately, abusive cycles committed by our caregivers or those we hold dear manifest into routine emotional pain, which can feel impossible to break. We often find ourselves normalizing abuse to love our abusers, even when it hurts.
Being raised in unhealthy environments shifts our perceptions. Over time, we develop coping and protective mechanisms to avoid reopening emotional wounds. These learned unhealthy practices shape how we interact with others.
I am Loryn Ch?s (Chase), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor passionate about empowering clients to actualize their greatness despite perceived setbacks. I specialize in helping people break generational cycles of abuse and overcome their fears by learning the power of changing their perceptions of themselves and others. Using a structured yet holistic approach, I guide clients toward their desired goals and outcomes. Clients graduate from counseling feeling free from mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional pain, with renewed energy and a fresh outlook on themselves and life.
