Lucia Stanfield, LMHC-QS. MH14998. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. My eclectic therapeutic approach combines solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and rational-emotive counseling. I individualize my therapeutic techniques, dialogue, and treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs. I have extensive experience working with serious mental health issues, substance abuse, family conflict, and everyday struggles. I aim to provide a relaxed and relatable platform where clients feel comfortable sharing. Therapy is a dialogue, not a monologue. I have always had a passion for helping people. Seeing positive changes in others' lives is what motivates me to go to work each day. Goal setting is a collaborative process, completed together. These are your goals, not mine! First sessions can feel uncomfortable; however, I strive to be relatable and help you feel at ease from the start. I encourage questions, as I will be asking questions as well.
